walk
So Mayo and I are interested in taking part in Run for Hope, and mae suggested going for the 10km route, and the reasoning was that if we're going to walk 2km, we might as well walk 10km. That makes more sense when mentioned in a conversation.
After some (possibly problematic) calculations, we thought we could walk/run 10km in 2 hours. But I don't think we'd be able to walk/run 10km like, in one shot, so factoring that in:

Hahaha which meant that 10km would take like 8 hours. meaning from 8am to.. 4pm. And then we have to factor in lunch time so we'd end at like, 5pm. :D
This is evidently a problem.
So mae emailed run for hope:
Dear Sir/Madam,
My friend and I are interested in taking part in Run For Hope, and to show our support, we would like to participate in the 10km run.
However, we'd first like to enquire as to whether there is a time limit to the run, and hence if we're allowed to run at our own pace? Also, is walking (for the entire duration, potentially) prohibited? We will ensure that we don't get in the way of the runners :)
Thank you so much!
Regards,
Maehanyi
Their response basically thanked us for our enquiry, and said there is no time limit. This made me laugh though, "If you need to walk, you can walk at the side and give way to runners who are really running."And then they suggested we do the 2km Fun Run instead, if we don't feel up to it.
Apparently this just means that yes we can walk 10km if we want (and are willing to embarass ourselves), so we are going to.
I am totally going to regret this.
