empty vessels make the most noise
hahaha ok apparently I haven't updated in super long, and people are bugging me about it, so here I am. I just got home from the airport! We went there to send my brother off :D He's going back to UK for uni again. I think it's a pity that things always change just as I'm getting used to them. When my bro first left for uni last year I got used to the (suddenly) very fast internet and quietness/peacefulness of home and having my room all to myself. Then when he came back I kinda had to adjust to having an older sibling at home again, but just when I'm happy with how things are, my bro is going back to UK again. Ah well. have a safe trip, kor! I'll miss you and your quirky quips, even though you insist I weigh 300kg.
also, this is slightly overdue but universal studios singapore!!! oh man, although I've been wanting to go since it first opened, I never actually thought the day would come when I would really be at universal studios! :D Ok, so it is small compared to like, amusement parks in other countries but I mean, that doesn't make it any less awesome. (: Especially if you go there with people you love <3 As much as going with friends is really fun, having a family outing is equally good and meaningful too. Try it, people. It's good quality time! Some more memorable events at USS:
- My parents yelling and waving excitedly at King Julian, Alex (the lion), Gloria (the hippo) and the four penguins as they walked past us, while my brother and I stood embarrassed at the back.
- Finding out my brother really likes the penguins of madagascar.
- Finding out my brother is a hardcore battlestar galactica fan. (As you can probably tell by now I don't know very much about my brother)
- Battlestar galactica!! Oh wow. If you can, take it! Both of them! I did. :D The 'Human' one is higher and steeper, but the 'Cylon' one goes like, upside down. @_@ It's scary, exhilarating and woooooooow :D
- The egyptian mummy ride! that's one a kind of roller coaster too, but it's..scary hahaha. it really is scary. Like not only in the steep drops and high speed kind of scary.
- Actually I can't seem to recall very much at the moment. But it was a really good experience, enjoyed myself tremendously!! :D
Eh, now that I've started this blogpost I suddenly realised I have quite alot of random things to say. One of them being, WHO STOLE MY COOKIES? T-T ahhhh I can't believe people actually do things like that. They stole -in my opinion- the worst two flavours somemore. Of course all the flavours are good la hahaha, those were just the two I don't like as much. And I'm pretty sure at least one of the tins were stolen. Ok I'm missing one mint and one oat and raisin. The mint one might have just been misplaced (AHEM, sandra, if you're reading this, I don't blame you! It's just, the tin was with you that day!), but the oat and raisin is almost definitely stolen. I mean, the person who took it had to know which cupboard my cookies were in, open the cupboard, open that specific box of cookies, and take that one last oat and raisin tin from my box. ):
I want them back!! ): If anyone, by some strange chance, happens to find my cookies please give them back to me :D
Today I realised I really enjoy long car rides. Like, to the airport. It's a really nice and calming feeling to look out the window and see the world passing by, to look up at the sky and know that compared to the unimaginably gigantic universe, compared to the greatness of God, our teeny little problems (e.g. MATH, and uhm, CHINESE) are really so small and insignificant.
I think it's cos of the hazy sky but I can't seem to see any stars tonight. ):
OH YES I recently created a twitter account (which I am beginning to regret because it seems that all anyone tweets about is how difficult studying for math is, please stop ): ) follow me! I have like, 5 followers at the moment HAHA.
https://twitter.com/#!/raendear it's like reindeer, y'know! :D
Mmmm, yea. That's all I have to say right now. (:

I am a lean mean book machine.
I am a hip hop ballerina.
I am a quirky weirdo.
I am on the pursuit of happyness.
I am trying to stay realistically optimistic.
I believe a little faith, trust and pixie dust can solve many problems.
