a thing to blog about: the night safari!
just went with felly, ele, suzy and claire on friday! believe it or not, it's my VERY FIRST TIME going to the night safari. first time! the whole tram ride i was gripping onto suzanne and claire, cos i was really really scared we would suddenly enter the halloween part of the ride. about the animals: i still don't get how they can be kept in without fences or anything. and you can't really see much in the dark. about the halloween part: REALLY REALLY gory. it was creepy, but i think it was worse for suzanne cos she was sitting at the side. and felicia didn't see anything! she kept her eyes shut the whole time! actually i think it would be scarier being the guy in the costume right? i mean, you have to stand in the middle of nowhere by yourself in a stuffy costume and weird makeup in the middle of the night. i would freak out. but maybe thats just me.
anyway, after the tram ride, we went on the forest trail thing. it was actually freakier than the ride. cos the 'monsters' jump out of nowhere and then everyone screams their lungs out and runs away. the worst was still the chinese zombie people..i think we nicknamed one of them confucious or smth. suzanne was trying to tell him a joke. from a distance away of course. " confucious says: those who sit on pot are high, but those who smoke pot are higher." yup. and when we tried to exit the trail, we took a wrong turn. and we went through the whole trail a third time. ( first time: entering, second time: exiting, third time:WRONG TURN) It was like deja vu, except it was real. freaky. felly's grandma was really nice. she tried to defend us from the monster people. haha. thanks felly's grandma and felly's mum!
i tried not to reveal too much. go experience it for yourself. nightmare-free nights not guaranteed.
